We had a nice face-to-face meeting of the Kansas Sunflower Chapter #79 on Saturday, July 29, at Spear’s Restaurant and Pie Shop.

It was announced that Richard Johnson, KØRCJ, requested to step down from the office of chapter secretary. Randy Reynard, WØRDR, agreed to step into the role. He was declared secretary by acclamation. Welcome and thank you, Randy.
We also discussed having a table for QCWA at the Reno County Kansas Amateur Radio Club’s Hamfest on Saturday, August 12, at the Kansas National Guard Armory, 1111 N. Severance St., Hutchinson, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. If you can help, please contact Larry Cannon, KØSFV, at lwcannon@swbell.net.
